WORKERS COMPENSATION—

Workers’ compensation or “work comp” are claims for injuries that arise out of and in the course of one’s employment. Illinois’ workers’ compensation law is a no-fault system. This means injuries occurring on the job are covered by workers’ compensation — regardless of whether the employer was negligent. A work injury can be a life-altering event. Know your rights.

Filing a claim for a work related injury is your legal right. The law says you are entitled to certain benefits if injured on the job, including:

  1. Temporary total disability (TTD) benefits (lost wages);

  2. Temporary partial disability (TPD) benefits (partial lost wages);

  3. Medical benefits;

  4. Permanent partial disability (PPD) benefits (compensation for your injury); and/or

  5. Vocational rehabilitation

For over 15 years, I have concentrated on workers’ compensation cases. I have helped injured workers recover their rightful and full compensation. I have fought and won workers’ compensation cases at the Arbitration, Commission, Circuit Court and Appellate Court levels. I am fortunate and blessed to have extensive knowledge and experience in the workers’ compensation arena.

Work injuries can turn your life upside down. Unfortunately, it is my experience that most employers and insurance companies will do anything to prevent an injured worker from receiving full benefits and compensation for injuries. The employer and the insurance company are only looking out for themselves. I am here to look out for you!

PERSONAL INJURY—

Someone is seriously injured every day in our communities due to someone else’s negligence. Injuries affect not only the person injured, but also their entire family. You need someone on your side that has the knowledge and experience to represent you or your loved one(s).

I have been helping injured victims in our communities for over 15 years and have recovered millions of dollars for my clients on personal injury cases, including:

  1. Wrongful death;

  2. Motor vehicle crashes;

  3. Motorcycle crashes;

  4. Bicycle crashes;

  5. Pedestrians;

  6. Slip and falls; and

  7. Dog bites

The law says that you have the right to be compensated for all of your harms and losses. Examples of harms and losses include: pain and suffering; medical bills; lost wages; disfigurement; and loss of a normal life.
Insurance companies – now more than ever – are looking for ways to avoid from paying the full and fair compensation the law allows for. In fact, a few years ago, insurance companies stopped offering the full value of the medical bills. In some instances, insurance companies offered less than 50% of the medical bills. This is not just or fair.

I have extensive experience in personal injury cases. I have fought these cases in court and won.
