WORKERS COMPENSATION—

Workers’ compensation or “work comp” are claims for injuries that arise out of and in the course of one’s employment. Illinois’ workers’ compensation law is a no-fault system. This means injuries occurring on the job are covered by workers’ compensation — regardless of whether the employer was negligent. A work injury can be a life-altering event. Know your rights.

Filing a claim for a work related injury is your legal right. The law says you are entitled to certain benefits if injured on the job, including:

  1. Temporary total disability (TTD) benefits (lost wages);

  2. Temporary partial disability (TPD) benefits (partial lost wages);

  3. Medical benefits;

  4. Permanent partial disability (PPD) benefits (compensation for your injury); and/or

  5. Vocational rehabilitation

For over 15 years, I have concentrated on workers’ compensation cases. I have helped injured workers recover their rightful and full compensation. I have fought and won workers’ compensation cases at the Arbitration, Commission, Circuit Court and Appellate Court levels. I am fortunate and blessed to have extensive knowledge and experience in the workers’ compensation arena.

Work injuries can turn your life upside down. Unfortunately, it is my experience that most employers and insurance companies will do anything to prevent an injured worker from receiving full benefits and compensation for injuries. The employer and the insurance company are only looking out for themselves. I am here to look out for you!
